THE DAYBREAKERS – Free Entry at The World’s End

Fast-rising, time-warping bluesological rockers THE DAYBREAKERS, live and FREE ENTRY at The World's End Camden for a HALLOWEEN SPECIAL!

The Daybreakers channel the sounds of Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac and Cream who pushed the boundaries of rhythm and blues back in the ‘60s, The group channel the same spirit by mixing up the medicine to evoke the shades of the MC5, Captain Beefheart, The Gun Club, Morphine and more. No constipated purists, The Daybreakers hug synths, sampladelica, the avant garde and pop to their Paisley-patterned bosoms, a three-headed brave Ulysses for the 2020s.

The set features special guest Rex Roulette who has been touring as part of Eagles of Death Metal, and will be dicing up The Cramps, The Clash and more.

The Daybreakers are a power trio led by Irish / Jamaican songwriter and guitarist Aidan Connell who's skills have been sought by Gary Clark Jr, Mazzy Star and Seasick Steve among many others. The Daybreakers groove like a mutha thanks to blues savant drummer Raul Mas and school-of-Stax-meets-Motown bassist Conor Cotterill, the three embodying the seeming paradox of tight but loose.

The band have been tearing it up in packed venues in the UK and Europe, both in their own right and as the obvious stand outs at Starship club nights, which has attracted such luminaries as the late Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. They've also recently had airplay on both BBC Radio 2 and Radio 6 Music.
